Nothing....
“Wendy," Peter Pan continued in a voice that no woman has ever yet been able to resist, "Wendy, one girl is more use than twenty boys.”

I do not have a problem with the word Gay at all. But why are we talking about sexual orientation? Sexual orientation has nothing to do with playing a game or going into Pixie Hollow. For me the word GAY means happy. Homosexual is the word I would use for either male or female same sex partners.
If we keep our conversations generic as we should in a public game then Gay, Straight, Lesbian, or Homosexual have no reason to be in the conversATION.

With all respect,
Cloudshimmer

Using the term gay for happy is actually a pretty old term. People usually use it for sexual orientation nowadays, including the term homosexual. I can also see where you are coming from on having it not being in conversations. But I mean players don't talk about sexuality or orientation on a daily basis so I also don't see the harm in allowing the word "gay" to be in game.

A person's (or pixie's, in this case) sexuality is something completely acceptable for Pixie Hollow, as long as they aren't being violent, vulgar, or otherwise offensive. When people say sexuality has no place in conversation, I feel it is their own discomfort shining through. You don't have to use the word, but it's not a swear or a cuss, so it shouldn't be restricted in-game.

I do agree with you on this.  I would have wished dearly that gay would have stayed its original term.  It is like Goodbye, which truly meant god be with you in the middle ages.  I wish that there was another term we could have used.  Although, the dictionary has many terms that mean opposites definitions.  I really do not see the purpose of talking about sexuality in a game such as Pixie Hollow.  I would understand if they used such a term for its original intended definition, though.
