The Special And Small Locket
A Poem by Isabelle FlutterwingsWhose locket is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite sad though.
It really is a tale of woe,
I watch her frown. I cry hello.

She gives her locket a shake,
And sobs until the tears make.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

The locket is special, small and deep,
But she has promises to keep,
Until then she shall not sleep.
She lies in bed with ducts that weep.

She rises from her bitter bed,
With thoughts of sadness in her head,
She idolises being dead.
Facing the day with never ending dread.

That last paragraph was so sad. I’m wondering what the locket has to do with it! Any ideas?

I am not sure if we can speak  of saddness to that extent on here but this is one great poem. I imagine the locket has a small clock in it like a man's pocket watch. Since it is now broken she will be late for what ever she has planned. That's just what I imagine. Terrific Poem. Oh wow, I just saw this came from the poem generator....cool.
