Beverly Cleary was a well-beloved children's author famous for writing the Ramona and Henry series, among a few other titles. I had almost all her books and believe it or not, she started as a student that struggled with reading, but then became one of the best authors I ever got the pleasure of reading said works and she was part of why I've wanted to be an author and illustrator since I was a first grader. She almost made it to 105 (At the time of writing this, if she were still here she would be 105).
Oh wow, I read so many of her books as a kid! I'm actually surprised the Ramona series was that old since I read them in the late 2000s-early 2010s. It was so popular among my classmates. Her books are very long lasting as I know there are many kids reading her books now, and it's awesome she lived such a long life!
