I was inspired to do this artwork of a total lunar eclipse by the memory of the eclipse I saw a few weeks ago. I'd never seen an actual eclipse beyond pictures until that point, so I tried to draw the moon as it approached totality, then I added lots of stars because otherwise the picture just felt a little too empty. Have you ever seen an eclipse?
