There is no timeline on when 3.0 will be released. One of the developers - the only one still active on the forums of what I see; Susie hasn't logged in since last month. Hopefully we will get news soon!

Perhaps the fact that we got 1.0 back might be news for us saying that we'll get new news on 3.0 soon? One can hope.
