Lavender's Crappy Sonnet

I wrote this for English class. It's really bad, but I figured that I should contribute something to this group. (I'm SO SORRY for rhyming bad and sad. I ran out of ideaasss). I had to write a sonnet about love and I chose to be dramatic and write about a broken heart. Go me. Here ya go:


‘Tis alike a misplayed musical note
Begins with confidence, finishes sad
All good things must end somebody once wrote
But that's just fine, since it was only bad
A relationship short, yet never sweet
“My heart, why must you always be shattered”
How unfortunate that he chose to cheat
Now she is emotionally tattered
It seems that the skies are constantly gray
His photograph lies face down on her desk
“Just get over it,” all the people would say
The way he left her was truly grotesque
She did naught but love him straight from the start
Shame he only ripped out her fragile heart
