I definitely remember seeing both the 90s version and thre 2017 version of Beauty and the Beast and even had the first version on VHS. It actually reminds me of Belle's Magical Christmas (or a comparable title, but it had a singing Christmas angel with a French accent and a rather less than angelic demeanour), where we saw the Enchantress give the Prince that very rose around Christmastime and he showed ingratitude towards her for her appearance. Interesting take on a classic.

, great job. must admit though...it was kinda cruel of the enchantress to punish the innocent servants, they did nothing wrong...and the prince was only 12-ish...

Are you sure the prince was about 12? He may've been closer to 16 or 17, but then again, in those days characters looked a little more mature earlier in life.
